Life with Dash

We have welcomed a 45 mph couch potato into our household.

Dash is doing really well. The first night he was nervous but slept the whole night. He is curious about everything. Windows, the coffee maker, the stove, the stairs. He is actually scared of the stairs. He has finally started to climb them by himself. He is also afraid of the balance ball. He thinks it is a monster I guess.

He is also a little awkward, almost like Bambi. His legs are so long. And when he goes down the steps he almost needs a landing strip to stop the speed.

He loves books although he hasn't eaten any, yet. I have this stack of books that sits on my hearth and he goes over and knocks the top book off everyday. Then he carries it over to his bed and sleeps with it. Maybe he needs harder toys. He has a lot of soft toys.
